Welcome to Sparkling Escapades Abroad with the Fairy Bra Mother.
If you’ve ever looked at other people’s blogs and thought, “I could never write like that,” you’re not alone—because I’ve thought the exact same thing. But I do love to write. And more than that, I love connecting with people through stories. So, I finally decided… I don’t have to sound like anyone else. I just have to sound like me.
This blog is going to be a little mix of everything—travel tales, bra-fitting adventures, personal reflections, laughter, maybe even a few tears. It might be messy sometimes. It’ll definitely be honest. And I hope, above all else, it makes you feel something.
The name Sparkling Escapades Abroad with the Fairy Bra Mother came after a whole lot of soul-searching (and maybe a few late-night tears and brainstorming sessions).
Sparkling felt right, because I’ve always loved shiny, joyful things—and I want this space to sparkle with truth and encouragement.
Escapades captured the spirit of adventure (and the occasional chaos) better than “confessions” ever could.
Abroad because traveling internationally became a huge turning point in my life.
Fairy Bra Mother—well, that’s the nickname I’ve earned doing something I never thought I’d have the courage to do: helping women feel confident in their own skin, one perfectly fitted bra at a time.
What many people don’t know is that I used to be painfully shy. I had trouble looking people in the eye, and I would’ve never imagined myself fitting bras or traveling solo across the world. But life has a way of gently pushing us past our fears.
My very first trip overseas? Let’s just say it was eventful. I faced some of my biggest fears in one go—a boat ride (and I’m terrified of water), an ambulance, and even a hospital stay. But even with all that, I came home with a new kind of bravery. That trip cracked something open in me. And now… I crave the beauty that comes with both adventure and vulnerability.
So if you’re here, reading this—thank you. From the bottom of my heart. I’m so grateful you’re along for the ride. If there’s ever a topic you’d like me to share more about—travel, bras, joy, fear, growth—I’d love to hear from you.
Here’s to finding the sparkle in the everyday,
Sonya, your Fairy Bra Mother
